Milkjam Creamery - Sarah

Sarah - Croissant Ice Cream with Black Currant Jam, Cream Cheese Mousse, and Brown Butter Streusel

Milkjam Creamery of Minneapolis honors Women's History Month (March) by renaming all of its flavors after important women -- including their monthly specials.  The first monthly special is called Sarah (instagram link here) after the Minneapolis baker Sarah Botcher who runs the Black Walnut Bakery on Hennepin.  What is in this flavor?  It has a croissant-based ice cream with a black currant jam, cream cheese mousse and a brown butter streusel.  I have never had a croissant flavored ice cream before.  I'm guessing they soak croissants in the milk and cream to infuse it with the flavor and then strain them out.  Otherwise, it looks like and interesting and eclectic mixture of ingredients.  Let's check it out.

Removing the lid, I see quite a bit of the black currant jam right away.  A couple of darker globs but a lot of it has half-blended into the base.  Digging in, the blackcurrant flavor is quite good.  The croissant flavor in the base is not obvious -- especially with the streusel mixed in there as well -- but it goes well with the jam.  The cream cheese provides extra thickness which also compliments the jam.  Overall the flavor is quite good.

This is a solid "berry crumble" ice cream done with extra fancy ingredients -- black currant, croissant, brown butter, etc.  It is done very well, though and I enjoyed it quite a bit.  The use of black currant reminds me of a couple of Jeni's flavors (Brambleberry Crisp and the limited-batch Clare's Cabinet).  It will be fun to see if this flavor returns next year.

Milkjam Creamery - Fool's Gold

Fool's Gold - Caramel Ice Cream with Brown Butter Pecan Apple Blondies, Dulce de Leche and Sea Salt

Milkjam Creamery of Minneapolis has flavors for January (instagram link here) and today's flavor is Fool's Gold (instagram link here).  This features a caramel ice cream with brown butter pecan apple blondies, dulce de leche and sea salt.  It is an interesting mix of flavors.  Let's see how this turns out.

Removing the lid, I see only the caramel ice cream base.  This reminds me.  I don't think Milkjam has a simple Salted Caramel ice cream on their menu.  I suppose that's what special releases are for.  Digging in, the caramel base has a simple and agreeable flavor.  I can taste a bit of salty, but it is not too strong.  Soon I encounter the mix-ins.  The dulce de leche provides more caramel flavor (dulce de leche is caramelized milk while plain caramel is caramelized sugar).  The blondies seem to be mostly embedded within the dulce de leche.  These are pretty good.  They provide more even more caramel flavor with the brown butter.  The apple flavor in these blondies is not that strong -- this is not an apple-y pint -- but I do notice it if I focus.

This is a fun caramel-themed pint from Milkjam Creamery.  The dulce de leche and brown butter blondies provide even more caramel to the caramel base.  The contributions of the apple and pecan are more subtle, all the forms of caramel are the stars of the show here.

Talenti - Peanut Butter Crunch

Peanut Butter Crunch - Layers of Peanut Butter Gelato, Graham Cracker Pieces, Brown Butter Sugar Sauce, Vanilla Gelato and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Talenti Gelato has a new special batch layers flavor called Peanut Butter Crunch.  This flavor is the result of the contest that they had on the Bravo Network's Top Chef program.  Bravo has a link here with details.  Talenti has a link here.  They told contestants to create a layered ice cream dessert and that the winner would be turned into a Talenti flavor.  The winner was a chef named Avishar Barua who created a flavor based on Buckeye Bonbons popular in Ohio.  Graeter's of Cincinnati had a flavor based on these treats as well.  This Talenti flavor is a layered flavor and the layers are peanut butter gelato, graham cracker pieces, brown butter sugar sauce, vanilla gelato and chocolate peanut butter cups.  Let's see how this turns out!

Unscrewing the lid, the top of the pint only shows the top peanut butter gelato layer.  For the purposes of taking pictures for the review, I proceed to carve out a slice to show all the layers.  Pictures are below.  The peanut butter base is fairly light in color.  The middle two 'mix-in' layers (graham cracker and brown butter sugar sauce tend to blend a bit and the chocolate peanut butter cups line the bottom of the container.  Slicing out the layers has the benefit letting me easily access all the layers in one spoonful.  It is a good mix of flavors.  The peanut butter gelato is indeed a bit light (not heavy).  The graham cracker brown butter form a tasty swirl.  The vanilla gelato further lightens up the pint and the chocolate peanut butter cups are chocolate-heavy and provide quite a bit of contrast to the rest of the pint.  It's quite delicious.

This is a fun and well-done peanut-butter themed layers flavor.  Talenti already has a layers flavor with similar ingredients called Peanut Butter Vanilla Fudge, but I think they manage to make this flavor unique.  There's much less chocolate in this pint -- it is limited to just the peanut butter cups -- and I like the graham cracker and brown butter sugar sauce better than the peanut butter cookies.  If you are a layers fan who likes peanut butter and chocolate, then check this out.

Milkjam Creamery - Children of the Korn

Children of the Korn - Sweet Corn Ice Cream with Brown Butter Caramel

I am back and Milkjam Creamery in south Minneapolis for yet another "extra" flavor between August and September (the September flavor instagram link is here by the way).  This flavor is called Children of the Korn (instagram link here and here) which is an obvious play on the classic Stephen King short story and movie.  This is a corn-themed flavor.  I have had one sweet-corn-based flavor before from Sweet Science.  There, they pair the corn with a blueberry sauce.  Here, they pair it with a brown butter caramel.  Let's dig in!

Opening the pint, I see yellow color of the sweet corn base with hints of the brown butter caramel swirl on the edges.  Digging in, the sweet corn is pretty good.  I can definitely tell that it is made with corn.  There are no kernels, but the flavor is definitely there.  The brown butter caramel swirl as evident in hte second instagram link above does not materialize.  I can taste the flavor a bit, so I think it got blended into the base which can happen from time to time.  The flavor does complement the corn pretty well.

This is a decent corn-based flavor from Milkjam.  It does not have the large pools of brown butter caramel that one of the instagram links shows, but the blended brown butter caramel does go fairly well with the sweet corn base.  Overall, I liked Sweet Science's corn flavor better -- the corn flavor is stronger and in my opinion better.  That flavor also has a blueberry sauce swirl which serves as a contrast rather than a simple complement.  If you like corn, but not blueberry, you might like this flavor better, but otherwise it's Sweet Science.  Both flavors are limited batches, though, so the proper answer may be that corn fans may want whichever one happens to be available at the time.

Milkjam Creamery - Butter Pecan

Butter Pecan - Brown Butter Ice Cream with Caramelized Pecans and Butterscotch Sauce

Milkjam Creamery's July flavors are out.  Their theme this month is "American Classics, Reimagined" (instagram link here).  I went down to their scoop shop on Lyndale Avenue in South Minneapolis to pick them up.  This will be interesting because Milkjam is one of those places which specializes in off-beat flavor combinations with interesting ingredients so although all four flavors this month are fairly standard at most other ice cream parlors, I don't think I've seen most of them at Milkjam.  The first flavor is Butter Pecan (instagram link here).  I just reviewed a butter pecan from Grand Ole Creamery last week (review here).  There, I briefly mention other butter pecan or brown butter pecan implementations from Graeter's, Talenti, Häagen-Dazs and Sweet Science.  Here, Milkjam jazzes up the mix by caramelizing the pecans and adding butterscotch sauce.  That reminds me of a butterscotch pecan flavor I had from the now defunct Three Twins a while back.  Let's see what Milkjam does with this classic flavor.

Removing the lid, the base ice cream has an yellowish-white color to it and I can see a couple of the the pecan mix-ins right away.  Digging in, I can taste notes of the caramelized flavors (brown butter and butterscotch) but it is fairly subtle.  The pecan mix-ins are dispersed throughout the pint.  These are crunchy and delicious.  They is a little bit of a coating to them, but like in the base the effect is fairly subtle.  These are not candied pecans and there's no ribbons of caramel here.  Still, the effect is delicious and this is a bit more flavorful than the usual butter pecan implementation.

This is a solid, implementation of a slightly jazzed up butter pecan ice cream.  The flavor description made it sound like the flavor is more exotic than it is.  The butterscotch is pretty well blended into the base and the caramelized coating on the pecans is fairly subtle -- though maybe this effect varies from batch to batch?  Traditional butter pecan fans will enjoy this flavor.

Van Leeuwen - Praline Butter Cake

Praline Butter Cake - Sweet Cream Ice Cream with Praline Pecans and Brown Butter Cake Pieces

Today is another flavor from the Brooklyn-based Van Leeuwen brand.  They are carried locally at Kowalski's Markets.  This year, Kowaski's has rotated which flavors from this brand that they carry which gives me some ice cream to try.  Today's point is called Praline Butter Cake.  It has a plain sweet cream base with praline pecan and brown butter cake mix-ins.  That is an interesting combination of mix-ins.  I have had many flavors with praline pecans and a handful of flavors with butter cake, but I would not have thought to combine those two.  Plus, this is a brown butter cake.  Brown butter is butter which has been heated up to caramelize and concentrate it a bit.  I have had a couple of brown butter pecan pints from Graeter's and Sweet Science, but in today's pint the brown butter is in a cake and the pecans are praline coated.  This should be itneresting.

Removing the lid, the sweet cream base had a creamy off-white color to it and several of the mix-ins are visible right away on top.  Normally, I do think of sweet cream as being extra white, but Van Leeuwen makes "French-style" ice cream which mean that they use twice as many egg yolks.  Digging in, the ice cream is thick and the extra eggs make it creamier -- almost like a custard.  I quickly encounter all the mix-ins.  The praline pecan pieces are the size of crushed pecans (i.e. not full-sized).  They taste quite good.  The butter cake pieces are also small in size but are large enough that you notice the chewy texture.  The texture reminded me a little bit of cookie dough because it is a dense cake.  The flavor of the cake pieces is not as noticeable as the praline pecan pieces but I can tell there some caramelized flavor in there if I focus in on them.  The main thing I notice is the texture which keeps me guessing as I eat my way down the pint.  That is, some mix-ins are crunchy and some are chewy and I am never sure which one I am going to get.

This is an interesting and unique flavor from Van Leeuwen.  I would never have thought to mix butter cake and praline pecans.  It is not too exciting, but it works.  This may appeal to pralines and cream fans looking for a twist on their favorite flavor.

Ben & Jerry's - Whiskey Biz

Whiskey Biz - Brown Butter Bourbon Ice Cream with Blonde Brownies & Whiskey Caramel Swirls Topped with White Chocolatey Ganache & White Fudge Chunks

Last week, I tried my first pint (Thick Mint) from Ben & Jerry's new line of Topped flavors.  Topped flavors have an extra hard-yet-still-spoonable layer of something (usually chocolate) on top.  Plus, there are still plenty of mix-ins included in the ice cream below as well.  Today's flavor is called Whiskey Biz.  I bought it at the Ben & Jerry's scoop shop on Excelsior Boulevard in Minneapolis (just north of Bde Maka Ska).  The flavor name is a pun on the classic Tom Cruise movie Risky Business.  The 'whiskey' refers to the whiskey caramel swirls and perhaps also to the brown butter bourbon base.  The 'topping' is white chocolate ganache and white fudge and there are also blonde brownie pieces below.  A lot of ingredients!  It will be interesting to see how this all comes together.

Opening the pint, the top layer of white chocolate is quite white with chunks of white in it.  I have not seen this much white chocolate in one place since the last time I bought an entire bar of white chocolate which was when I was a kid.  As mentioned in previous reviews, white chocolate does not contain and of the cocoa solids (which are brown).  White chocolate is made from cocoa butter and sugar.  It still comes from the same cacao bean, but it has a totally different flavor.  I used a small knife to cut through the top.  These top layers are not too tough.  They are actually soft and chewy once you get into it, but last time I found that it was not super-easy to make the initial dig with a dull and round spoon.  Anyhow, once I broke through I could see the beige color of the brown butter bourbon base and some of the blondie and caramel mix-ins.  In that first spoonful, the white chocolate is actually incredibly sweet.  In the past, I have noted that white chocolate is often a neutral flavor for me and can be used to mute other flavors, but here there is so much of it on top that I got a large dose of sweetness all at once.  Eating my way down the brown butter bourbon base is mild and serves here as a vehicle for the other mix-ins.  The blondie brownies are soft and chewy and the whiskey caramel is sweet and gooey.  There is a moderate kick of whisky aftertaste in this caramel but nothing too intense.

This flavor is a bit of an adventure.  There is a lot going on.  Down below, the brown butter bourbon, caramel and blonde brownies reminded me a bit of an old retired flavor of theirs called Blondie Ambition but with a whiskey caramel swirl added.  That old flavor was OK, but Ben & Jerry's does not do blonde brownies as well as they do the chocolate ones.  Here the whiskey caramel swirl does improve things.  The top layer here of white chocolate is a bit too sweet and does not match what is below.  I think a top layer of caramel (or something caramel-like) would have worked better.  Perhaps that is not logistically possible?  As you can tell I did not like this pint as much I would have hoped.  I think you have to love white chocolate more than me to get into this one.

Ben & Jerry's - Punch Line

Punch Line - A Comedic Duo of Brown Butter Bourbon & Almond Ice Creams with Roasted Almonds & Chuckles of Cherries

Ben & Jerry's has a new flavor!  This flavor is called Punch Line and I found it at the Target in the Midway neighborhood of Saint Paul.  Punch Line is another limited batch flavor in their "Netflix" line of flavors -- other flavors include the Netflix & Chilll'd, Chip Happens and Boots on the Moooo'n.  Each flavor in the Netflix line is either linked to the streaming service itself or one of the shows which is available on it.  Punch Line is a reference to their comedy program.  The lid has the phrase "NETFLIX IS A JOKE" on it which is the name of their comedy based social media feeds.  At first I thought this was going to be for their stand-up specials, but it might be more generic than that (sitcoms, etc).

Anyhow, enough free advertising for Netflix!  This ice cream has a dual base -- brown butter bourbon and almond and it has roasted almond and cherries for mix-ins.  That's a lot of ingredients.  Let's see how it all comes together.

Removing the lid, I can actually see everything right away.  The brown butter bourbon and almond bases are similar in color, but are both distinctly visible if you look closely.  Even in mass production, Ben & Jerry's is able to finely marble their bases like this.  I see a couple of the cherries and I see hints of some of the almond pieces.  Digging in, I immediately taste the almond flavor of the the almond base.  The flavor of almond extract is quite strong, but it is not overdone.  I do not distinctly taste a lot of brown butter bourbon -- there is no bite, it is not at all boozy.  This particular base is very subtle and here it serves to cut the almond base a bit.  The almond mix-ins are small, but crunchy.  Flavor-wise it does not compete with the almond base, but I like the crunchy texture.  The cherry mix-ins are quite good.  The pieces are of a good size and the flavor goes well with the almonds.  This is delicious.

I liked this flavor from Ben & Jerry's quite a bit.  It is a very good almond-and-cherries flavor.  You have to like the flavor of almond extract to enjoy this pint, but if you do, then this is quite enjoyable.  The flavor it reminds me the most of is one of Ben & Jerry's cookie dough core flavors called Sweet Like Sugar.  That flavor also had almonds and cherries but also had a lot of sugar cookie dough.

Sweet Science - Pumpkin Pepita Brittle

Pumpkin Pepita Brittle - Spiced Pumpkin Ice Cream with Pumpkin Seed Brittle

Today's flavor is a new fall flavor from the Saint Paul-based Sweet Science Ice Cream.  I bought it at the scoop shop inside the Keg & Case Market in Saint Paul.  This flavor is called Pumpkin Pepita Brittle (instagram link here).  Pepita is spanish for 'little seed' and usually refers to pumpkin seeds.  So, it's a pumpkin ice cream with a brittle made with pumpkin seeds.  Sweet Science has had pumpkin-based flavors before.  I tried a Pumpkin Cheesecake a few years ago which itself contained a Pumpkin Five-Spice flavor which I have not tried by itself.  We all want pumpkin flavors in the fall and I like the idea of trying to find new ways to deliver it.  Let's check it out.

Removing the lid, I see the brittle right away.  I think I even see a pumpkin seed or two in the brittle.  The pumpkin base behind is a light orange color.  Digging in, the brittle is delicious.  The side of the pint says that it is made with pumpkin seeds, brown butter, brown sugar and honey.  I really like it.  I can definitely taste the brown butter and the brown sugar and the pumpkin seeds is what provides the crunch.  The pumpkin base behind is perhaps a little milder than what I have had from them before.  I can still taste the spices, but it's more of a pumpkin-pie level spice than a full five-spice flavor.  The base is playing a different role here than it did in the Pumpkin Cheesecake linked above.  There the base provided most of the flavor which was balanced by the cheesecake.  Here, the brittle is the star of the pint and the pumpkin base is holding it all together.  There certainly is quite a bit of brittle here!

I really liked this pumpkin and brittle themed pint from Sweet Science.  This is another example where I feel like I'm getting my money's worth by getting more mix-ins than I expect.  I have had one similar pint before, Milkjam's Pecans in Molasses Pumpkin (PIMP) from a couple of years ago.  Both use pumpkin as a base for crunchy mix-ins.  There the mix-ins were molasses-based pecan brittle and here the mix-ins is a brown-sugar-based pumpkin seed brittle.  I think I think Sweet Science pint better, but it could be that I have had it more recently, ha, ha.  For a fun twist on a pumpkin flavor, check out Pumpkin Pepita Brittle.

Izzy's - Butter Queen Coffee

Butter Queen Coffee - Brown Butter and Coffee Ice Cream with Chocolate Covered Espresso Flakes
Today, we return to the Saint Paul-based Izzy's Ice Cream for a flavor that they release for the 2015 State Fair called Butter Queen Coffee.  Some contemporaneous links about the introduction of this flavor are available here and here.  It is encouraging to see that the flavor is still in the scoop shop location a few years later.

The name of the flavor is due to the back that the base ice cream contains both coffee and brown butter and also because there is a long standing tradition of making butter sculptures of the pageant-like queen of the State Fair.  Yes, you read that correctly.  It is one of the quirkier things that happens at the Minnesota State Fair.  The Midwest Dairy Queen will crown a Princess Kay of the Milky Way to act as a goodwill ambassador for the year.  One of her duties is to sit in a refrigerated glass room while a sculptor carves her likeness in a giant hunk of butter.  Because it is a glass room, fair-goers can can gather around and witness this happening.  There are lots of photos of this on google image search.  It is one of the things that out-of-towners love to see when they visit because where else can you see crowned festival queen sitting in an ice box wearing their tiara with their winter coat?

Anyhow, now that you know about the origin of the flavor name, how does it taste?  Let's find out!  Removing the lid, I see the coffee base is perhaps a little bit darker than normal with quite a few chocolate pieces visible right on top.  The first spoonful tastes like coffee, but it is a bit caramel-like as well, so I can taste the brown butter in there as well.  The chocolate chips are delicious.  Some of the chips are more than just chocolate.  I can taste the crunchy espresso flakes in the center of some of the chips.  Also, some of the chips are almost toffee-like.  It seems fitting with the brown butter in the base that there might be some toffee mixed in with the mix-ins as well.

This is a very delicious pint of ice cream.  At its core, this is a coffee-chocolate-chip-like flavor but with some twists to make it unique -- namely the caramel-like brown butter in the base and the espresso flakes and toffee in the mix-ins.  I think the combination works quite well.  It is not as exotic as this year's Dessa's Night Drive which includes cardamom but this is still quite good.  If you are a coffee-and-chocolate fan interested in a twist on that classic combination check this out from Izzy's.

Graeter's - Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan

Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan - Bourbon-glazed Pecan Pieces in Brown Butter Bourbon Ice Cream
Today is pint four in my six-pint shipment from the Cincinnati-based Graeter's Ice Cream.  The flavor is called Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan and it was a limited-batch flavor which was released this spring in time for the Kentucky Derby.  Although it is a limited release, the carton has its own artwork so I think this might be a flavor that gets re-released from time to time.  I tried a variation on this flavor with Graeter's signature chocolate chips a couple of years ago and reviewed it here.  It will be interesting to try a more pure version of the bourbon pecan flavor combination.

Removing the lid, the brown butter bourbon base as a very light off-white color.  Several of the pecan pieces are visible right away.  There is a small void on the top of the pint on one of the sides, and I like the way it looks like the pecans are bubbling up through the base there.  It makes the base look extra creamy.  Digging in, the base is indeed quite creamy!  The brown butter bourbon flavor in the base is fairly mild but quite tasty.  The base is serving here to act as a vehicle for the pecan pieces.  The pecan pieces are numerously dispersed throughout the pint and they taste very good.  They pecans are billed as being bourbon-glazed, but the glaze has melted to create little pools of bourbon flavor around every nut.  I have seen this in-suspension melting happen with small toffee pieces or brittle pieces before.  I actually really like it when this happens.  The bourbon flavor itself was tasty but there was no kick or burn associated with it.  I think it is just bourbon flavoring and the pint does not contain any actual alcohol.

This is a very good pint of ice cream.  The brown butter base is simple, but quite good and the pecan pieces whose glaze had melted to give the effect that the nuts were sitting in small pools of liquid bourbon flavor were excellent.  This is sort of a souped up version of a butter pecan flavor.  Fans of butter pecan who enjoy a little bourbon flavoring should really love this.

Ample Hills - Baked/Unbaked

Baked/Unbaked - Vanilla Ice Cream with Pieces of Housemade Chocolate Chip Cookies and Brown Butter Cookie Dough
Today is the next pint in my shipment from the Brookyn-based Ample Hills Creamery.  This one is called Baked/Unbaked.  At first glance, this looks a lot like one of Ben & Jerry's most popular flavors Half Baked.  A second look reveals important differences.  Ben & Jerry's includes cookie dough and brownies uses both vanilla and chocolate bases.  This pint, features a vanilla base and a mixture of cookie dough and (cooked) cookies.   A nice blog post from Ample Hills describing how they make this flavor is available here.  Let's check it out.

Removing the lid, I see the off-white color of the vanilla base.  I see a small air-pocket on top, but nothing major.  I see a bunch of the mix-in pieces on top as well.  Digging in, vanilla base is same one used in the last pint (PB Wins the Cup).  It is very thick, but also quite malleable, so it is ideal for folding in large mix-ins.  Soon, I discover these mix-ins.  The brown butter cookie dough is the easiest to pick out.  It is soft and chewy and tastes like buttery brown sugar as you would expect.  The baked mix-ins were more chocolatey than I expected.  There were more like small shards of chocolate with the occasional cookie crumb embedded into it.  It is hard to imagine it being a cookie outside of the ice cream but it actually worked really well paired with the cookie dough pieces since there is no chocolate in the cookie dough.

This is an interesting and solid implementation of a cookie dough flavor from Ample Hills.  Ample Hills loves do twists on put their own twist on classic flavors and they've certainly done that here.  This pint is heavy on the 'unbaked' half of its name. The brown butter cookie dough tastes quite good in this thick and delicious vanilla ice cream.  The baked half may not be what everyone expects, but it is successful at delivering good chocolate flavor.

Milkjam Creamery - Who Run the World

Who Run the World - Malted Sweet Cream w/ Caramel Delights & Brown Butter Caramel
Today we return to the Minneapolis-based Milkjam Creamery for a flavor called Who Run The World.  The flavor name is a reference to the Beyonce song Run the World (Girls) which asks the question "Who Run the World?" twenty-seven times and gets the same answer ("Girls") each time.  Milkjam brings this flavor back each March for Women's History Month.  They promptly rename all the flavors during that month of March to the names of famous women.  In 2018, this flavor was renamed to "Oprah" and in 2019 it was renamed to "AOC".  I found this pint last month after it Women's History Month was over and its name had changed back.  The caramel flavor looked different than most of the other pints that I have tried from Milkjam so I picked it up.

On to the ice cream!  The base looks quite yellow as I remove the lid.  I expected it to be a bit more caramel colored.  Digging in, the base has a unique flavor.  It is an interesting mix of brown butter, malt and caramel.  Not really like any of those individual flavors, but not too bad either.  Like many other Milkjam flavors, the ice cream is very soft, yet still creamy.  As I continue eating I run into the mix-ins which they list as 'caramel delights'.  Before eating this pint, I was not sure what a caramel delight was.  Is a the girl scout cookie similar to the samoa?  I don't think so.  They are like small caramel candies.  Caramel-flavored Turkish delight might be closer, but I think I may be straining to explain the 'delight' name.  They taste pretty good and go well with the base.

This is an interesting and decent pint of ice cream.  The base is an subtle mix of flavors, though it feels a bit muted.  It certainly does not have an impact matching the Beyonce song.  The candy-like mix-ins sweetened the pint up a bit, but there were not a lot of them.  I did not like the flavor as much as I expected to, but if you like brown butter caramel and are not a sweet tooth, you might like this flavor more than me.
